I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist whose work centers around strengthening relationships and connections. After working with children, teens, and families for 10+ years, I’ve come to learn that relationship improvement can be an antidote to stress. For couples and families, strengthening relationships might mean working on being more open with one another, learning to share and listen effectively, knowing when and how to set boundaries, and how to respond in difficult situations.
Sometimes, to have better relationships with others, we also need to examine our relationship with our ‘self’. I believe therapy can be a great way to engage in self-discovery and exploration of our identity as well as learn how to use our existing strengths to help us move from places where we feel stuck. Creating sustainable change means collaborating with you to find the right tools and solutions to managing life’s challenges and to move towards growth and connection you want.
The idea of coming to therapy may be a daunting one and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can seem challenging. Please use the free consultation time so I can answer any other questions you have about working with me!

Counselling is a unique and individual experience that can allow for growth, development, and change to occur, often in ways we do not expect. I am extremely passionate about human connections and my main goal when working with clients is to provide a space where you will feel safe, supported, understood, and empowered to make choices that focus on your mental health needs and wellbeing in a respectful and non-judgemental environment.
I hold a Master of Education in Counselling and a Bachelor of Social Work both obtained from the University of Northern British Columbia.
I practice using an integrative, person-centered, and trauma-informed lens to best meet clients where they are at because we are all distinctive human beings who bring our own individual personalities and lived experiences, and you are the expert of your own life. Working with children and youth, folks who identify as LGBTQ2SIA+, and navigating neurodiversity/learning differences are my areas of passion and expertise, however, I value all opportunities to build meaningful connections and relationships with any client I meet.

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor whose practice centres around non-judgement and empathy. My aim is to create a safe space for my clients that allows them to feel comfortable enough to share the details of their lives with me in the hopes of improving their day-to-day functioning. My counselling style is an integrated approach, meaning I borrow from many different therapies to tailor a counselling treatment which best fits each individual client’s needs and preferences. As a client-centred therapist, I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that therapy can help guide you to make decisions and conclusions which are the best for your particular set of circumstances. Overall, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the core of any counselling treatment. I aim to connect with each client in a genuine way, seeking to understand your problems or concerns from your perspective so that I can incorporate some of my psychological training to help you reach whatever goals you may have (or don’t have) in coming to therapy.
I have experience working with individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds and those within the LGBTQ2IA+ community. I operate from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and feminist approach as I believe that these aspects of life greatly impact both the development and maintenance of mental health concerns; addressing these components of our experience can be beneficial to your quality of life.
